I was born in Lower Town Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. As a child I saw adventure mystery and beauty in everything and everywhere , whether it was Fishguard Quay with its colourful fishing cottages all in a row, to battered weather worn trawlers that leant on the quay wall at low tide waiting for the tide to turn …I was truly inspired.

Growing up in such a beautiful part of Wales I have tried to mimic the landscapes and views in my paintings and drawings, rugged ancient burial mounds and mountains that inspire legends, coastal beaches and waters with and ink blotched skies with light that changes minute by minute and it is because of this diverse landscape that the only problem I have encountered in painting Pembrokeshire is what to chose to paint first as I always feel like a child in a sweetie shop for the first time bombarded with the most amazing sights, smells, sounds and myriad of jewelled colours that I see and still appreciate every day.
